Since the launch of Breakthrough in 2016, Breakthrough has been working with woodgreen to help support dogs in rescue as they work through behaviour modification programmes that aim to rehabilitate them and find them new homes.

Billy the Greyhound

Despite arriving with us as an ex racing greyhound Billy has found the change very hard. He was transferred to us sharing his kennel with another greyhound but they had a fall out and since then Billy has been very vocal and destructive in his kennel. We are hoping that that Breakthrough diet will be another tool to help him settle and adjust while he looks for his new home.

Barkley the Lurcher

Barkley arrived to us as a stray and we don’t think he has ever lived a pet life in a home before. He is incredibly impulsive and when trialled in a home had much more fun toileting and destroying the home than he did listening or responding to training. He is also finding the confined life of kennels hard so we are hoping that Breakthrough can reduce not just his stress in kennels but increase his focus and response to training from his handlers which will set him up more better success when he finds a new home.
