Since the launch of Breakthrough in 2016, Breakthrough has been working with woodgreen to help support dogs in rescue as they work through behaviour modification programmes that aim to rehabilitate them and find them new homes.

Copper the Bull Lurcher Cross

Copper is 18mths old and before arriving with us has a history of being very nervous around people he doesn’t know. He had an unsettled first home and start to life where he was mistreated and as such finds it hard to trust new people. Since arriving he has also struggled with the environment and having so many other dogs around him. The team are working extra hard to support Copper through managing his environment, training and are using Breakthrough diet as a tool to support this. In the last few weeks it has been noticed that Copper is much less stressed in general around his environment and kennelling and this is helping with his training.

Ghost the Lurcher

You may remember Ghost the Lurcher from an earlier update this year. We are pleased to update she has been on Breakthrough a little while and is making great progress with her confidence and seems much happier exploring new environments and people.
